How exactly does it work?
1. Host your ride
Taking an auto or cab anyway? The moment you set off, post it — takes about 20 seconds: where you're going, how many seats you can spare, and the full fare you're paying for the trip.
- Auto or cab, both work — it's your booking and your route. Go live as you leave; riders find you while you're moving.
- Your route is computed once and never changes. Riders come to it — you never detour for a pickup.
- Change of plans? Cancel any time; everyone who joined is told instantly.
2. Get matched — zero detours
Looking for a ride instead? Tell Slizy where you are and where you're headed. In realtime it finds cabs already moving your way whose route passes you — same direction, seats free, enough shared distance to be worth it.
- Matching is live: only rides on the road right now, whose cab hasn't passed you yet, show up — with the ETA to your pickup.
- Your pickup and drop are pinned on the host's route, always within a short walk of where you stand.
- Every match shows the host's name, photo, and rating, and your exact share in ₹ — all before you tap join.
3. Meet on the route
Join, walk to the pickup point Slizy pinned on the host's route, and watch the cab come to you live. When you board, the host marks you picked up — that's the moment your share locks in.
- You always see where the cab is; the host sees where you're waiting.
- Not picked up yet? You can leave any time, free, no questions.
- Once locked, your share can only get smaller (if more riders join) — never bigger.
4. Split the fare on UPI
When the ride ends, Slizy does the maths and sends you a payment request. One tap opens your UPI app with the host's UPI ID and your exact share pre-filled. Pay, done. The host confirms it landed.
- You pay only for the stretch you rode — your share is proportional to the part of the route between your pickup and drop.
- Money goes straight from your UPI app to the host's. Slizy never holds, routes, or touches it. No wallet, no fees, no cash.
- Payments carry the UPI reference (UTR), so “did it go through?” is never a debate.
5. Rate each other, ride again
Both sides rate the ride — stars, quick tags, an optional note. Ratings show on every future match, so good co-travellers keep finding each other and the flaky ones stop getting rides.
- Hosts rate riders, riders rate hosts. You get 7 days, and you can edit within the window.
- Profiles carry phone and optional work-email verification alongside the rating — you always know who you're riding with.
For the nerds: your weight = fraction of the route you cover × seats you take. You pay fare × your weight ÷ (1 + everyone's weights). The host covers the rest — they always pay the biggest share, because they ride the whole way.
